The 4 fabulous baby lock overlockers

What makes a baby lock overlocker different to the rest? Well, all baby lock overlockers feature air-threading loopers, 3 have automatic tension control on the loopers and needles and all have a needle threader - which customers tell us is a complete game changer when it comes to threading an overlocker.

baby lock Acclaim air threading loopers2, 3 and 4 thread overlocking, narrow and rolled hemming, 2 and 3 thread flat lock, differential feed, stitch length and width dials and LED lighting are standard on all baby lock models.

What is air-threading? It’s simple – just pop the end of the thread in the looper port/hole, press a button or push a lever and whoosh – the loopers are threaded!

Why is making the right choice for you is important to us at the baby lock shop?

Here at the baby lock shop, we don’t aim to sell you the most expensive machine in the range. Whilst the top of the range baby lock machine would be amazing, it might not be the right fit for your sewing.

The flip side of the this is, of course, by going for the starter machine you might outgrow it pretty quickly and wish you’d gone for that more expensive model!

Buying a baby lock air-threading, automatic tension overlocker is an investment we are confident you will love and an investment that will offer many years of reliability, performance and above all sewing fun and creativity.

We are with you from new baby lock owner and beyond

We pride ourselves on not only on helping you chose the best machine for you but we will help you get started with your new machine with an introductory tutorial*. We are on hand with ongoing support, tuition and our baby lock workshops.

baby lock shop owner Jane says - Why buy from the baby lock shop?

“That’s a very good question and one you are quite right to ask before you part with your hard-earned money!

I am a bit different in the world of machine sales. I’m not a ‘shop’ in the traditional sense of the word. I not only run the baby lock shop but also  Jane White Couture Tuition - my sewing school with a passion for passing on practical skills in a fun way wherever you are on your own sewing journey.

My fabulous baby lock demonstration machines don’t just sit on a shelf until someone wants to try one out. No, we put them through their paces every day in class. And boy, have they seen some action! From PJs to countless woven and jersey garments, the Toaster sweater being up there as a firm favourite.

We spare them no task. 3 and 4 thread overlocking, rolled hemming, narrow hemming, flat locking and add baby lock accessories from beading to piping, you name it, we’ve probably done it with a baby lock. Done it with ease and a professional finish every time.

We'd love you to, Get in touch, give us a call, book a demonstration – we do Zoom as well as in-person demonstrations, because we love to pass on our love of all things baby lock and help you start you on your own happy baby lock sewing adventure.

Thank you for reading.
